Conformity. A simple word that describes a complex battle that all creative souls must fight to sustain individuality in a society that rewards the ability to blend. The SkheduleOne Brand is a band of creative souls who have not given up that fight.
Created November 24, 2011 SkheduleOne was the brainchild of 20-year-old Riverdale Georgia native, William Cosby. If you search the literal meaning of the term “Schedule One” you will find that in legal terms it is a category of drugs not considered legitimate for medical use, or unconventional drugs. Cosby took that definition and applied it to a particular group of people whose lives may not necessarily be considered conventional.
“The brand is geared towards the individual who lives their life doing the things that they love rather than doing what society has set out for them to do,” said Chris Jackson of SkheduleOne.
With his new idea and ode to fellow dream chasers, Will joined forces with 22-year-old Chris Jackson of Columbus, Georgia and 21-year-old William Tanzie also of Columbus Georgia. These three young men became the driving force behind what soon after became a movement among southern college students.
Since then, the brand was expanded from a few T-shirt designs to a cultural blog site highlighting ambition and innovation. The brand’s merchandise has also evolved to display a wider variety of designs to keep their audience comfortable in their rebellion. SkheduleOne Brand sees no end in sight. Only hopes to continue its mission to create and inspire creativity in others.
